2023 Review
I love my job. It’s a real pleasure to be there on the biggest big day of a couple’s lives and document it and preserve it for them to keep and enjoy again over and over for a lifetime head together. Thanks to my documentary approach it’s a job that never gets old. I am always looking for the things that make each wedding unique, meaning I never feel like i’m treading old ground. Each day has a unique set of people turning up and they all contribute to the flow of the day, to the moments and the emotions.
No two weddings are the same. Of course, it’s very easy to photograph weddings as if they are all the same and photograph the same set of images over and over, but these images are not the images that hold their value over time. Photos that are true to the day and tell the real story of the people who were there are the ones which will not only hold their value, but increase in value over the years.
Here are my favourite images from 2023. Some big moments, some small moments, some funny moments, some emotional moments and 3 pictures of the Northbrook Park peakcock, I couldn’t decide on just one!
I can’t wait to get stuck into my 2024 season, it’s got some big shoes to fill!
If you’d like me to add your wedding to my 2024 season or even 2025 and beyond, please get in touch here.
