First Shoot of 2018
After a lovely few weeks exploring South East Asia on a motorbike during January and February it was great to get back to work last week. This year started with a Natural Portrait Session for Lyndsey and Ross. I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding last July and it was great to meet up with them again and get some images of their two year son. Like so many weddings last summer their's was a wet one and in keeping with the big day we'd picked another afternoon with inclement weather as we'd arranged the shoot for Friday 2nd March, slap bang in the middle of the recent deluge of snow which has blanketed most of the UK. Fortunately both Lyndsey and Ross are really laid back and happy to embrace things as they come and after a couple of phone calls to check the conditions we headed out to Malvern & Brueton Park in Solihull to feed the ducks, have a snowball flight and a brief game of hide and seek.
Shooting in the snow was a bit of a challenge, but great fun and something a bit different. Below are some of the images from the afternoon. Ross & Lyndsey have asked me not to put the close up images showing their son's face online which is no problem at all, the images here are a great representation of the afternoon.
If you'd be interested in some pictures of you and your family taken in a relaxed documentary fashion, please get in touch about booking a Natural Portrait Session.
