Shustoke Farm Barns Wedding Photography

Lesley & Michael, 31st May 2017

Shustoke Farm Barns

Lesley and Michael had perfect spring weather this May for their wedding at the beautiful Shustoke Farm Barns in Warwickshire. The distinctive red brick barns are one of my favourite venues in the West Midlands. Built in the 1800s they enclose a courtyard which is perfect for guests to mingle pre-ceremony and enjoy the afternoon sun in before the wedding breakfast. The courtyard includes 4 olive trees, which must make it unique among UK wedding venues.

The day started at the couple’s house for Lesley’s preparations in nearby Tamworth. Lesley was nice and relaxed which always helps as the brides’ mood sets the tone for everyone else.

Perfect light for the ceremony

The ceremony was in the main barn at Shustoke Farm Barns, which looked fantastic with it’s high wooden arches and rustic interior. The light hit the couple though the large side doors perfectly as they said their vows.

The spring sunshine was perfect for guests to mingle in the courtyard and in the evening the fire pits were lit for people to toast marshmallows. Guest were treated to stone baked pizzas prepared from scratch on site.

Below are a selection of pictures from the day.
