DEER PARK HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
As the 2018 wedding season drew to a close one of my last weddings of 2018 was Steph & Jack’s big day at Deer Park Hall on a wonderful autumn Saturday in late October.
A Cotswold country house, being a Deer Park Hall wedding photographer is a stunning wedding venue set with 1400 acres of countryside on the Gloucestershire Worcestershire border. An area of outstanding natural beauty, it is an ideal wedding venue.
The day started at a local hotel as Steph, her parents and her bridesmaids got ready before heading over to the stunning Tewkesbury Abbey for the ceremony. I can honestly say this is the most magnificent place I’ve photographed a ceremony along with St. Dominic’s Priory in North London. (You can read about that wedding here).
After the ceremony we headed over to Deer Park Hall for the remainder of the day’s celebrations.
Below is a selection of images form the day, I hope you enjoy looking through them.
DEER PARK HALL WEDDING
As we arrived at Deer Park Hall canapes were served on the lawn and guests enjoyed the last decent spell of autumn weather along with some garden games and some highly competitive conker matches.
Before guests were asked to take their seats for the wedding breakfast everyone piled into the Panelled Hall for the Father of Bride’s speech. He gave his speech in here as he had a slideshow planned and needed a wall for the projector. The Panelled Hall is used for the evening party, but it was perfect for this use as well with plenty of room for people to gather around. Guests were also able to use the Minstrels Gallery that overlooks the hall and gives a great vantage point over the room. I was able to use this later in the evening to photograph the first dance.
After the remainder of the speeches and the wedding breakfast in The Bredon Room, Steph & Jack took a few minutes away form the wedding and we took a few relaxed shots using the beautiful setting sun and the surrounding countywide as a backdrop.
The day ended with a lively evening party before everyone retired outside to enjoy the fire pit. I stay late at weddings because I think these moments are important to capture. Every part of a wedding day is worth capturing to preserve and enjoy re-living later and I’m glad I was there to capture the final bit of calm as the day wound down.
I absolutely loved being a Deer Park Hall wedding photographer. Located in stunning countryside and conveniently near the M5 for easy access for your guests, Deer Park Hall is a perfect wedding venue.
This exclusive use venue has attentive staff with a hands-on coordinator making sure the couple’s every need is seen to, venues don’t come much better than this one.
I’m due back to be a Deer Park Hall wedding photographer again in late 2020 and I can’t wait.
If you would like your wedding covered in the documentary style as I have done here for Steph and Jack please get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
