Wootton Park Winter Wedding Photography
Emily & Luke’s winter wedding at Wootton Park last November was the perfect way to kick off my 2019/2020 winter season. I was delighted that the happy couple had asked me to provide their Wootton Park Wedding Photography as it’s a venue I know well, having previously shot there in the summer of 2017. I was excited to return as I knew it would be a brilliant venue for a winter wedding as it’s such a versatile place.
One of the advantages of getting married at Wootton Park is the onsite salon, Trusts. Using Trusts for your hair and makeup on the day means you can arrive early and start to relax right away knowing you’re in good hands for the rest of the day and Emily and her Bridesmaids did just that. From the point of view of Wootton Park Wedding Photographer it certainly makes the logistics of the day easy as everything is in one place, not many venues can boast an on-site hair and makeup salon!
I started my morning coverage over at the couple’s house where Luke and his groomsmen got ready, before heading over to Wootton Park to capture Bride prep. One of the big stars of the day was Frank, Emily & Luke’s dog. I love it when a couple can include their dog as a part of the day as people’s pets play such an important role in their owners lives.
Below are some images from the day.

After getting married we were able to get outside for 10 minutes for a few relaxed portraits before the rain came down, as it had been threatening to do for a few hours, and then settled in for the rest of the day. It was good to get the newly weds out and away from the wedding just for a short time so they could have a few moments to themselves before joining their guests back inside for drinks.
Emily & Luke’s evening entertainment definitely made this Wootton Park wedding one of the standout evening parties of the year for me. Fireworks and music from the brilliant Detroit Soul Collective along with food from made it a memorable evening.
Set in 360 acres of Warwickshire countryside, Wootton Park boasts large grounds with the possibility of a lakeside ceremony in the summer months and two large interior spaces meaning there’s plenty of room. The barn style venue can accommodate up to 150 guests but is also ideal for smaller weddings with less than 50 guests. The venue is licensed for indoor or outdoor weddings so you can choose a location to suit yourselves.
