Hi, I’m Tom, a documentary wedding photographer based in Cambridgeshire.

To me, weddings are all about the small moments.

Because the small moments are actually the big moments.

And that’s why I’m there: to see the small moments.

Of course, I will photograph you doing all the classic big moment stuff like walking through confetti, cutting your cake and taking your first dance. But in 20 years time you won’t care about the cake cutting, or a photo of you both sitting in front of your marriage certificate with an awkward smile.

What you will care about is the small moments. Because, in 20 years time, those small moments will be the big moments.

My photography will capture the moments and emotions of your wedding day in a storytelling style which will make you feel like you are there all over again.

I let events unfold around me naturally in order to capture the moments and emotions which tell the story of the day and give the pictures a real feeling of being there.

Great photos make you feel like you’re there again.

My relaxed attitude allows me to be amongst you and your guests without anyone feeling like they are being professionally photographed. Often at weddings I am asked by guests how I know the couple, as they assume I am a friend who’s been asked to take photos.

There is always time for family group photos and some relaxed couple shots if you would like them. But for me this is not what the focus of the day should be about.

If your idea of the perfect wedding is a day focused on you enjoying the company of your family and friends and not the colour of the chair covers or the size of the table centerpieces, then I would love to document your wedding celebrations. If you’re planning on a good party then even better!

I live in St Neots but I don’t just work as a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer. Over the past 5 years I’ve captured over 100 weddings from the Lake District to Devon via London and Wales. In that time I’ve documented lots of different types of weddings from urban warehouse celebrations to countryside garden parties. Each day was unique and I captured that uniqueness using my storytelling style. Along the way I’ve collected the most prestigious international wedding photography awards in recognition of the standard of my images.
